Normally don't do the try another tyre routine,i've used Bridgestones for years and been happy(relatively) e'm 020 fronts excepted!!,got my ear bent by the Michelin rep at this years Ally Pally show to test some odd ball 17" trail bike tyres on my Tiger, which were then replaced with a pair of Michelin Classics you find e'm on the Ducati classic range, not only they gripped but didn't wear, rideing out of Prague a couple of weeks ago the sign on the side of the road said 51c road temp and 44c air temp so they had a pretty hard time, met some guys who'd ridden straight out to Brno on Pilot powers 1000 miles of motorway with hardly a mark on e'm,anyone else useing e'm found the same??
I had Pilot Powers on my previous GSXR and they were superb. Unfortunately I crashed it before I wore them out, but this was largely because of how good they were. I simply felt very comfortable using up my safety margins. Oh well.
