does anyone know where I can get some colourmatched silver paint for the bottom of the forks legs as mine are flaking ?? The wrong shade would look crap, as Im hoping to just touch up. cheers.

Don't bother touching up, since you'll waste a ton of time. Strip them back and repaint the whole lower fork ends, and the fork braces whilst you're at it. The BMW paint on the forks is several grades short of being good enough to be called crap. Strip it all off and repaint with some proper stuff. Halfords silver wheel paint and lacquer do the job nicely.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
