Bel Europa 966 radar detector

Anyone out there got a Bel Europa 966 radar detector ?

If so where did you mount the radar antenna ?

I'm going to swap the Bel from the car to the S but can't see an obvious place to mount it.

Hi Michael, did you get it sorted out? Any tips would be welcome as I'm thinking about getting one myself. Do you know if you need to get a rear facing antenna as well?

Neil,
no never did sort it out to my satisfaction.
mounting it on the headstock with my Garmin mount worked the best but looked awful.
made a bracket to mount in front of the radiator but it just fouled the mudguard.
its currently back in the car.
I believe they are going to be made illegal later this year ??

You get barred for having them in France
