Tube Strike - London Routes?

Post by JamesL »

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a route to get from Baron's Court / Hammersmith in to the City - where Moorgate crosses London Wall? Usually I dump the bike at my mate's place in B Ct and Tube it in; bus substitute seems a joke.

It's a few years since I tried getting to the City from the West; last time I went straight in via Hyde Park Corner, Mall, Strand and it was pretty much a nightmare. Autoroute solves for a route South of the river, up Borough High Street and past Bank.

All contributions gratefully received & I might end up parking with XOK and a couple of R/R GSs in Lawrence Lane...

Many thanks,

James

Just take the A4 all the way in. When you get to Picadilly circus, carry on up Shaftesbury Ave.
Then Bloomsbury Way onto Theobalds Road.
Then Clerkenwell Road up to Old Street Roundabout.
Take Third exit on to City Road which then turdns into Moorgate.
Job done.
