Octane Requirement R1200S

Not much we here in western USA can do about it..BUT our top octane rating at the pump is 91...specs of the 12.5:1 R12S is for 98 octane...anyone out there with a R1200S using 91 octane? If so any problems with mixture and fuel/air ratios? Power?

Phil, that's 98RON. That is the US equivalent of 94PON.

Since the 12 has a knocking sensor, 91 (or 95RON in EU) should be ok.
