I am doing my first routine maintenance to my R11S, and I have noticed a 2 wire open connector on the right hand side under the saddle, about halfway towards the tail.
Anyone know what this is for?

Think I found it; just realized the manual has a harness overview and I think it is the ABS sensor connector, which is not hooked up since I do not have ABS on my bike.
Interesting though, if the harness is identical on ABS and non-ABS bikes and all the wiring is in place, it should be relatively easy to retrofit a non-ABS bike with the (in case of my 2003) EVO3 ABS and partial integral brake system if one would for instance find a totalled bike of the same year.

Re: Connector under saddle
It's for the power out socket that you can fit if you need somewhere to plug your heated clothing / optimate etcthrottlemeister wrote:I am doing my first routine maintenance to my R11S, and I have noticed a 2 wire open connector on the right hand side under the saddle, about halfway towards the tail.
