...me unfortunately.
Less than a mile from home today at around 10am, went onto St Andrews roundabout in Uxbridge, some blind bint in a Golf (on the phone

) pulls out in front of me from lane 1 of her entrance to the r/b. I toot my horn, she remains oblivious (if you can't hear a Harley's horn you must be deaf). I keep a safe distance to her rear off-side whilst she's keeping well to the outside of the roundabout. At this point she steers towards the Park Road exit of the r/b with no signal, (at which point I'm signalling my exit onto Park Rd) and begin to power on to make my way onwards. She decides, whilst in the 'mouth' of the exit, to swerve right in front of me and carry on around the roundabout, cutting me off (she's probably still jabbering on the phone at this point). I blast the horn again but, like before, there's no evidence of her wish to avoid me. I have 2 options: Slam the brakes on or hit her broadside. There's Diesel on the r/b so I've been taking it very easy anyway, but the bike goes down and lands on my foot.
I can vouch for how good Daytona Evo boots are - 280kg of Harley and my foot's underneath it. I can still walk (just).
Bike's not
too bad - slightly bent bars, broken levers, scratched exhausts (£!!). Worst thing is that my previously-mint and shiny baby is now blemished.
