Should you want to export an S then read this

One thing we needed to put our bikes on French plates we speedos calibrated in Kmh. BMW only sell complete speedos and not the Kmh face. I found this on ebay.de Item number 8000556619.
They change the faces to Kmh, in white with a set of blue LED backlighting. The seller even sent them to France! Before I fit them I will work out a speedo calibration against the GPS and refit the needle in the appropriate place.
If anyone is interested then I'll take some pictures when fitted.
Whilst on the subject ebay.de has loads of 1100S stuff on it, try searching under both R1100S and R 1100 S.

If anybody wants a km speedo then I have got two!! Well I think I have got two, but I haven't seen them for a while!!!

Be advised tho' that there are quite a few variations in the speedo. Different years got different speedos and always the one for ABS bikes are very different to those for bikes without ABS.

Mine are for late 2002 manufacture (2003 model year) with ABS!!

Somewhere I've got some others for RT, LT, R, GS (Adventure with ABS) and that is all I can remember.

Well I'm glad you said that Sandbar as I had considered buying a couple of secondhand ones! I would have probably got the wrong ones and our bikes don't have ABS.
