Free drive shaft replacement

Post by MickB »

Having read about the free replacement of the drive shaft for owners of r1200s at or around 36000 miles, i find myself wondering whether we will be included in this generous offer from the factory or is it model specific?

Be nice if it was as I'm now at around 38K miles

It only applies to the Liquid Cooled R12x0 and R1300 models, although the R1300 customers have to pay

Would have been nice, mine cost £545 for the shaft alone and I had to fit it! The 12S is different to any other apparently so a second hand one was like rocking horse poo. It was at about 60,00 miles though.

According to RealOEM the 12s shares its drive shaft with other 12's of the time :D
