Back End Buccy October 8/9/10 2021

Post by stoney »

Spoken to Yvonne at the Buccleuch Arms in Moffat today. They have good availability for the weekend of 8/9 October.

Does this work for people? If so I’ll ask her to hold the rooms for us to book individually if there’s enough interest.

I’m happy to liaise with her over meals but much better one of you locals organise the riding on Saturday and Sunday.

So…who’s up for Smokies and Whisky!?

Jeez! quoted you then noticed dates were conflicting.

That weekend is good for me, and last year's route in forward or reverse is good, I reckon

Jenny and I are booked in, a return to Buccleuch sounds like a great idea.

Sounds like a plan. Count me in.

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

After an initial confidence in availability - I'm going to have leave the booking of accommodation for a couple of months to ensure it fits in with other moving commitments.

I’ve just booked into the Buccy too, and there are several rooms still available.

Cheers,

Paul

Buccy now booked for Kate & I through to the Monday.
Will decide a bit nearer the time if we go up early / come back later.

We are going earlier, planning a two nighter in either Kirkcudbright or Newton Stewart
