That should slow the Bug*er up. i was always going to do that mod to my R80RT but sold the bike before I got round to it.

If it is yours its had a gender change as "he" is a she …. Poppy …. a genuine killing machine, having a rare break. When she's out for the day she goes through about 3 rodents a day. Bringing them home as "presents" of course.

The brakes feel much better, not hugely but noticeably.

For anyone else interested in similar.

You need an additional disk from an R100RT or RS. I got a pair from eBay as the one I had wasn't slotted.

Then two none ABS K75/k100 calipers. Got lucky and found a set on eBay that the previous owner had changed all the seals and fitted new pads and stainless bolts.

Finally a crossover pipe to connect the left and right calipers, again sourced from eBay.

My R80ST doesn't go fast enough to warranty the extra braking power but an interesting mod none the less, thanks for sharing.
