Love it.
I can't understand though, how they've managed to price it cheaper than the other R NINE T variants.
Is there a catch ?

I'm waiting for the BMW die hards to chime in complaining about lack of luggage options

Nice bike! There's more than a hint of Guzzi V11 Tenni in the fairing and headlight.

Normal BMW Brembo brakes, not the radial brakes on the
standard R Nine T and normal telescopic forks not the upside down ones, steel tank not alloy

I'd prefer two exhausts a la original Norton Commando

I see.
Well I can live without all of that.
I spoke to my local BMW dealer about this bike, and they are not hopeful that the price will be the same as the one being quoted in the press,
They reckon add about a grand.
Apparently, BMW are due to have a price increase across the board from early next year.
He did say to keep an eye on the second hand stock, because quite a few R NINE T owners have expressed interest in changing to the racer.
Mmmmmmmm

Pretty bike but this retro fashion doesn't do it for me. It'll never be the real thing. Much prefer the 12S which doesn't try to impersonate something else.

Mine is definitely a sports bike. It's so sporty BMW had to say it 3 times in the brochure, so it must be. 'Sport Sport Sport'

It's quite nice, but strangely (I thought), not as impressive in the metal as it was in the photo's.
Powerbronze had a standard R NINE T on their stand, fitted with their carbon fibre quarter fairing that looks much better than BMW's.
It costs £500, meaning it would be far more cost effective to keep your standard bike, and just fit one of those.
Job done, although you would need clip on's as well, as it won't work with the standard bars.
