Hi Bob
There are various additional covers that i've seen around, but you best bet, just find a local man that can recover it,i actually found a guy in Coventry took a picture of the Wunderlich seat with the bit grafted on the front and asked hime to copy it and must have had it on the bike 3 years or more.

you're not supposed to polish the seat Bob
could try industrial self adhesive velcro - we have a couple of strips lying about.
on a more serious note, we use that bobbly rubber stuff when we tour to protect the paintwork from our old Oxford soft panniers - stops the wife climbing all over me under braking too. Its dead cheap from Hein Gericke and you can just tuck it in around the seat - might do as a cheap stop gap.

I had mine done at www.motorcycleseats.co.uk. Cost me about £120 I think and they put a load of gell pads in too. They covered it in a non slip grey suade look material. Pillions have commented about how grippy it is too. Take a look next time I dee you.
