Wedding Anniversary meal

Post by GRAgusta »

We headed over to the West Coast for dinner at Achiltibuie, and a grand adventure on the bikes, even the sun shone eventually.

Main course ... thanfully there were six courses :D

Apart from a short hold up on the way home the journey was great. Hold up was due to a lorry failing to negotiate a sharp bend .... but he took home the sign as a souvenir.

Weather was super, on the whole.

Wow talk about in the middle of nowhere.
I've been up to Ullapool a few times, but never on the bike.
Bet the ride across country is a bit lively?!
Cheers and congrats to you both :)

Yamaha have done a good job on the styling of that Diversion :)

(not too sure about that dinner course, mind :? Looks a bit like the result of my cat eating too much...... )

I love Ullapool as a weekend destination - it has a bit of a buzz about it.

There's a good GS road north off the Achiltibuie road - through the Inverpolly nature reserve - to Lochinver.

Take your credit card if you visit the Lochinver Larder for anything more than directions

Al :D
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......

The 600 divvy was a possible choice for my new company bike. Test rode it, but it felt too small for anything other than short haul work.
Ended up with a Honda Crossrunner which is now a week old/1000 miles.
Stonking bike. Does everything easily :)
