I have titanium bolts all over my bike, not the shiney ones that can be bought commercially but hte blue grey ones as used on the RAF Tornado aircraft. They weigh about a third of the noramal factory fitted bolts and don't corrode. Have I noticed a difference? No, but I must have saved at leat 300 gramms over stock. Had I taken off the GPS mount I could have saved even more!
I must admit as an engineer I am obsessed with unsprung weight - I have removed the ABS bracket from the left hand fork of my 2004 1100S.
