New Y pipe + Lennies + K&N, - chip next?

Dear wise ones,
the bike came with the air side mods and I have just fitted the Wunderlich Y pipe- thanks Edwin from Austria.
Just thought I'd mention to other novices; y-pipe fitting proceedure: take off number plate holder, take out back wheel, remove/loosen nuts and bolts from exhaust system only; working from the back end forward, remove silencer first, no need to undo anything upstream from the cat bolts - which all broke off! Gentle tapping brought the silencer unit out. Cat came out after I found the 10MM bolts underneath it and the Lambda undid with adjustables. Do not take off the rear side panels/tail light/grab handle or seat. I did. Everything went back with a rich coating of copper grease, reused the metal gaskets, preloaded the Lambda wires so they were at rest when the unit was secure.
WOW! :D Great sound, but haven't taken it out for a ride yet.
Do I need to alter anything? Or does the Lambda take care of it all? I suspect that the general set up now is pretty lean, so before I cook/fry the engine, should I change the coloured code plug? Is it time for new chip now, if so, which one? Or can I just ride? Has anyone been here before? :?

I have just fitted 2 Y pieces this week (mine & the girlfriends), did not need to remove the back wheel at all. Both bikes - hers 2000 single spark, and mine - 2004 twin spark, were unchanged apart from that and they both run much better. I will not make any other changes as the injection system seems to be happy as it is.

Remove the code plug and fit a k1200 fuel reg. Lambda sensor is only effective at constant throttle, otherwise it's ignored.

Run the bike just as it is,as someone who's spent more than an enough on his S,i've never bothered with a chip,particulary after Malc's S burned both piston's!!!.

Andy speaks well of the K regulator,have a look a the BBP site he doesn't,make your own mind up.

I reckon the fuel reg change is worth it, here's why:

After I'd rebuilt the motor and run it in I went to see a man with a dyno. The bike was making decent power but the gas analysis said the motor was a bit lean.

Popped in the new fuel regulator and back to the dyno. I can't remember how much additional power, in the region of 6HP at the wheel, but the fueling was richer. Dyno bloke reckoned it was about right.
