Is anything worth anything???

I remember a conversation a couple of years ago when when thinking about buying Dymags,i was moaning about the the cost, when my dear wife reminded me that if i was mr average i'd be dead in less than 20 years,i ordered e'm on the spot!!,just the wrong colour!!!.

When i saw the cost of the top and bottom yoke divided by two and thought that'll do,haveing just had to cough up over 300 quid on a petrol hedge trimmer the yokes seemed a bargain!!!

well it just got me thinking, as I've presently got a badly worn BT020 on the front that is wearing past it's wear indicators, and a Pilot Power on the rear which is presently making no attempt to warm up and actually grip.

Once I get some new tyres on I notice straight away the difference for only half what the yokes will cost, I suppose if you want to be feeling the difference all of the time you will have to be replacing the tyres before they get half-worn as well ;)

Hi jeff
I guess you call the telever arm the yoke around your ways  And as for triple trees :shock:We call them yokes. The former colonies need to get inline with the correct terminology!
I have no idea on cost yet for the arm.It will be a tubular affair made from reynolds high tensile steel and triangulated for maxium strength. All the tubes will be notched and brazed, again for maxium strength.I will have more information for ya next week when chris and i will see the fabricator.
all the best
