As mentioned in my "Days out" thread.............. I picked up a piece of glass on my rear Pilot Road 2, on the R-1. Prior to that trip, I had yet to gain complete confidence in them on that type of bike. By the time I had reached Thurso - I was comfortable with what I could get from the tyre (with the exception of one time on a cold morning, when the rear spun up while accellerating while upright
)
Having checked my diary - it appears that the rear had done between 3500 and 4000 miles, and had loads of tread left. I now have a Pilot Power 2CT on the rear, and noticed that the bike turns in quicker now, but will reserve judgement on them till I see how they wear. I don't discount going back to the Pilot Road 2 in the future (or that new Pirelli Diablo Rosso, that is getting all the hype)
