Spent a freezing afternoon on top of a Cotswold supporting daughter No 1 at Lacrosse away. Why is standing around colder than riding the bike? M/cycle jacket and boots meant body and feet were OK, but I should have worn the lot - my hands still hurt. So cold I nearly suggested a parents game to get the circulation going again...
