I have BT020's on.... as fitted by the BMW dealer last year.
Drove through cloud birst type rainfall in the UK and no problems. TBF I do most of my riding in Spain... where wet conditions are rare and roads are great in the dry and "track temperatures" are warm.
I have never had a moment on them... and if I had not read this poll.. would have replaced them with the same (If I cold get them) or 21's for which I read good things.
Subject to final tallies the Pilot Road 2's look favourite at the moment.
BTW I do not ride aggressively so virtually any modern tyre is better than me so the world is really my oyster...yeh!!!

Once the poll has finished... it would be interesting to read what the "Other" section broke down to?

Ok so, tight git syndrome suddenly kicked in as I was passing a tyre place in the Forest of Dean which I didnt know existed, the guy offered me Conti Road Attacks at £160 the pair, Fitted to the Bike, the Michelins will have to wait till next time, another £50 quid to play with at the NEC

---------------------------
I currently have Michelin pilot roads on mine and when the rear is finished I shall probably put the Road 2 on it as everyone appears to big them up and I've been happy with the existing tyre. On my old CBR600 I have always used Michelin Macadams and been pretty happy with them but when I took it on my Spanish trip I had to change the rear tyre the day before I left and I could not get a Michelin replacement, be it Macadam or Pilot Road 2 so I put a Bridgestone 021 on it (with the existing Macadam front) and it was perfect for 2500 miles of whatever Spain could throw at it. I was very pleased with it's performance. 100 degree heat, torrential downpour for hundreds of miles at a time, broken mountain roads and sticky twisties. It handled all of it without incident and when I got home it still looked almost brand new. A fantastic tyre for me although I know that the feel of a tyre is a very personal thing.
I hope that the Road 2 works for me on the 'S'. It looks better than the 021 as well and as I am a bit shallow like that it's the next tyre for me.

On the last oop north w/e Peter (Herrman) took me over to his 12S and asked me how many miles I'd reckon his rear Road 2 had done. 'Ooh...around 6k?' He replied with a figure considerably higher than that - to which I replied 'blimey' or words to that effect.

Peter doesn't hang around so in which case I was mightily impressed. Just a shame Michelin don't yet do a fitment for the Blackbird. However, I simply cannot fault the Storms - 5k out of a rear on a Blackbird is good going.
