Having had another 300 mile opportunity to assess the commonality/rarity factor of different bikes, I've come to the conclusion that the red 1200GS is indeed the rarer of the breed.

Analysis:
  • Red 1 bike
    Blue/Grey 2 bikes
So, one red per 300 mile radius; one blue/grey per 150 mile radius.

Can't argue with statistics. :roll:

Yellow and grey seems the colour of choice in London...

Remember statistics can be manipulated to suit any argument :wink:

Red is the most popular round here,
I saw one in my garage today

However Im hoping it sells next monday, as Ive kind of agreed to buy a bit of a monster
