Motorway Madness

Post by jltownshend »

Ahem...

My thanks (I think) to the Blue F800 that eventually overtook me early Wednesday Morning heading West.

If you hadn't have, the pursuit car might have got me...on the other hand, if I hadn't been following, he might not have slowed beside me to point an accusing finger for several seconds before trying to catch you...I shall assume he gave up as I saw a disconsolate Volvo heading East 10 minutes later.

Either way, possibly both lucky not to be heading toward jail.

Last sunday, on my way down south on the A90 towards Perth, I was doing 100 mph when something low, wide and white whooshed by  . So fast I couldn't tell what kind of car it was (if I'd guess I would say Lamborghini): must have been almost 200 mph. And he sure would have known about any police or camera!!

Filtering in rush hour, well into three figures, and then getting overtaken...
and then keeping up...
(Bloody F800s  )

Anyway, I had pootled after the eyeball (considering putting a waterproof on as a "disguise"), but when I saw it going the other way I decided to thrash to the next exit before I could be stopped and asked to explain myself...

Well-weathered leather
Hot metal and oil
The scented country air

It's not how fast you ride, it's how you ride fast.
Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear
bright until you hear them speak.
