new R1200s guy, West Mids

Post by exoticices »

Hello Everybody,

Just to introduce myself...

I've just purchased a near-new R1200S (silver) and it's rained every day since! Oh well.

I'm new to BMW but not to twins so the bike is not too much of a culture shock. Early impressions are that it's a stonking road bike.

Hope to enjoy the forum and maybe meet some of you someday.

welcome John,

I'm sure you'll enjoy the 1200S. Looking forward to meeting up. We're planning a trip to Hawes in September if you fancy a weekend Oop North. Check out the post in the Days Out section.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
