Barry Sheen did something similar in the early 80's? I think. Lost it on a bend at Brands (?) he flipped off the seat, ended up hanging on the bars BUT facing backwards, sliding his feet on the tarmac. body on the intrack side. He steered by looking forwards over his shoulder and at the right point. leapt back into the seat. He went on to win. 8)
