Single or Twin Spark?
Putting aside how the engine has been run in and cared for, which is the better engine - single or twin spark?
No longer a motorcycle owner.
Wife has single and I have twin. Very little difference apart from mine being a little bit more economical.

single or twin spark?
The old 2 valve boxers surely benefitted from the twin spark conversion (more power, smoother run, more power) with the 4 valve boers I'm not so sure...
My 04 runs a little smoother and maybe gets 10% better mileage but I think my 99 had a little more power on top...
That and the fact that you have to buy only half as many plugs come replacement time maybe the single spark was the better one?Of course a little smoother running and better mileage is not too bad either.Which one is better?Flip the coin...
