Cheers boys

I got some 2nd hand ones from motorworks (though they were 17.50 each!) and I think one of them is faulty....

I'll keep an eye on the ebay ones :D

I'm eying the ebay stuff myself - tempting, I don't need any of it but there's enough bits there to make an entire bike...with four wheels!

Or if you prefer, I could sell you an entire bike. Only two wheels though, sorry.

Jason,
I'm just back from a trip. Check this site, they will custom make your leads. I had some made for my car and was so impressed that I sent them a pattern for the R1100S. It is now a catalogue item, 1998 -2003 single spark. I found they offered a 'crisper' spark, nice blue colour too.
Or you are welcome to my old h.t. leads.

I got a 'develpment' price, but I think the pair come out at about £30. When I got them a while ago, I did suggest everyone that wanted any should get in touch with Phil, he was prepared to do a group (10ish) discount. But I reckon their prices are very fair, certainly better than BMW AND better goods. Check the on-site price list or ring them, it's a very helpful company. Anyone tried alternate coils?

Why exactly would I want this? I mean, a spark is a spark and as long as it fires..

True, but then again is a glass of wine a glass of wine?Confused?you will be.
Quality of the ingrediants and how it was made make all the difference.
Same with wires, different grades (purity)of metals and insulation material make an OK lead or an outstanding lead.
Ask any hi fi buff and he will tell you the difference between OK does the job and top notch gear.

So...they are the gold core, silk shrouded items, hand rolled on the thighs of dusky Cuban maidens...

I'm with Gijs on this one. Suck, push and if it bangs, it'll blow.

Ahh,but how long will it suck, push bang and blow for without getting bored or tired?
Shit,we are talking HT leads aint we?
