Hello Duke, and welcome.

Did the black wheels come with the bike? What's the story?
In hiatus from motorcycles.

Stevie - the Colgate 12S (and the yellow one) comes with black wheels as standard. Shame the black bikes don't as they look da bollox if you ask me. :)

Yes - Yellow and stripey bikes get black, silver and black bikes get silver. BMW still have a lot to learn about style don't they?
I already have a black XJR1300 - so didn't want another black bike.
Not happy about the paint though - may take it somewhere and have those black lines in the design painted on rather then the PVC tape that they are now.

On the shopping list then...
Bos front pipes - picked them up last night, then found they'd sent the wrong thing. Try again.
A bit of Carbon from Llmberger (I see sandbar is on here somewhere, must get in touch).
Some sort of luggage rack - going to Belgium/Nurburgring in June.
By the time I get it finished, who knows I may like it enough to keep it...

Hey-up there Duke. Good to see another S in the neighbourhood. Where did you get it from?

I'll keep an eye out for you at Squires

Oh, forgot - bought it from Rainbow. Although I'm in Leeds its quicker to ride to Rotheram from my house then it is to get to Shipley.
I have an R1 to get rid of now...getting cramped in the workshop.

Weren't me - I was in Scotland. I haven't been to Squires for a month or so. May have been Pete (did it have Panniers on?) or some other with impeccable taste!

R1, FJR, R1200s...what else is there?

Got mine at Rainbow too - great bunch of guys and gals!

Stoney, 'twas a yellow 56 plate 1200s with an Akrpovic can...not as rare as I thought then...

I like the Akra can but at 980 quid I'll leave it for now. I think I may be able to release just as much power with the 300 quid Bos front pipes.

Welcome to the forum.

Im now back on a 1200s too, albeit want to do a few bits to it in order to get it back to my last one, which was stolen ans now resides somewhere in the Seacroft area, with a black gentleman on board.

Mine's currently got the HPE downpipes and rear, although Im not sure if I'll stay with the rear can that fitted, the front pipes are very similar to the BOS ones.

Do you ever get into the Dales? If so, will be happy to take a gentle run out with you.

Really? have you heard news of it etc? :o
after all that and its still fairly local? Won't the plod do anything?

Seacroft isn't a million miles away from me...or Squires - I'm sure he'll get his just deserts sooner or later.

Was spotted 100% a couple of weeks ago and reported top plod. In a word, no they're doing feck all.
The bike called at an address in Seacroft, just off the North Parkway.
Even was kind enough to leave my plate on, 4 weeks after the theft. Nice eh
