Stainless steel kits

Post by woofboxer »

Anybody bought from these people?

http://stores.ebay.com/Desmoparts

They are selling a fairly comprehensive stainless kit for the R1100S for $54 dollars incl shipping. Given the current exchange rate this seems pretty good. They also do kits for various BMWs and other bikes (Ducatis obviously).

Anyway I've ordered one so I'll let you all know what I think when it comes. Andy.

Dont forget that all of the original screws that are painted blac are already stainless steel, just dip them in nitromores and give them a polish.

If you want good quality stainless at a good price then give this site a visit.
www.inoxgrp.co.uk
Apart from being cheap the guy who runs it is a total bike head and a canny bloke.
Most stuff comes the next day.

I've had kits off the Desmoparts site and been pleased with them. The guy even sent some extra bits FOC after I emailed him having discovered a slight difference between US & UK R1100S's.

Have seen the odd comment from people who thought they were a bit soft though.
