Just a recommendation for Mill garages at West Bolton near Sunderland. After my 11S's measily warranty ran out that I got from the bike dealers that I bought it from, I took it to Mills for a 'Health check' just for peace of mind. They had the bike for about 45mins giving it a good check over which included bearing checks, road test, topped up oil, balanced TB's they even put the road tax holder back on the correct side of the bike, there were no advisories exept for a tyre that had 2.5mm left on it. All this for the sum of £38 inc vat. Not bad I thought.
Don't know what their like normally but my first experience of them has been positive. Has anyone else used their services?
Thanks, Cobbster.

Wouldn't rate them any more than average, Cobbster, but we're a bit limited for BMW dealers in our neck of the woods so they've got a captive audience.
I find the workshop expensive and the limited range of secondhand stuff overpriced & poorly prepped. The mechanics are friendly & helpful, as is Steve the salesman, but that's as far as I'd go.
I get my 'S' serviced & re-booted by Darryl at DIT in Washington (0191 417 2787). He always does a cracking job for me and is very good value. He plays Pink Floyd in the workshop
and has a Jack Russell called Sid!
