I'm selling the 1200s, as it's obviously a sh**e bike.

Uh oh! Just made an appointment with the BMW dealer to discuss his offer. It's most likely we'll strike a deal on a black R1200S.

Is there anyway I can be stopped!!!!????

Absolutely

Come and have a ride on my Gixxer!!!!!!! A proper sports-tourer - it took me to Tony's and back, and it's quite sporty.

And it's black.....................

Gripperod,

No sweat, I am quite happy to poke fun at myself - life's too short to be serious all the time.

Well, yeah, but why, oh why did n't they make hard luggage for it, I mean, just how many sales have they lost by excluding these essentials? and the riding position could be better, why not offer a higher bar conversion? i think they lost an awfull lot of picky rider sales there
and another thing.......etc

And do they do a shaft-drive version of it too? I mean a reliable shaft drive....with proper bearings and stuff?

Of course if Archie's offer is open, I'd love to take him up on it. New forum list required: boxertrix.com/wazmybike4me

Aaaarghh. Too late! It happened: bought meself a brand new beemer. Black ofcourse. The thing that tipped the scale is the fact they put a very good offer on the Multistrada thing; even more then I expected to get.

I opted for the full feature, with board computer, tire pressure sensor, but it seems that this means it has to be produced on order .... 2 months delivery. So I guess I'll just stick to the plain ABS, heated grips, Ohlins, wide rear rim version.

You're very welcome to have a go, on a bend-it-buy-it basis, but I'm really not concerned about you thrashing it. I'm not sure it's really possible on the road.......or a track come to think of it. Not by me anyways.

Bloody good laugh trying tho!

Brilliant.............. we now know that it's "black"

Am I the only one who thinks engine size/year is a bit more enlightening?

I'm "guessing" that it may be a 1000, so - fairly "sporting" :thumbleft:

How'd ya get on with luggage? Any preference? any pics?

Mileage to dry tank?

Geez more................
