Take note!

Was doing one of my daily bike searches on Ebay and came across this food for thought!!::

There you go....make sure all is in order;these are the new laws that the police have. If they are given any grounds to stop you( for any reason they choose!) and all is not in order, they have the power to confiscate the vehicle there and then!

If this means that the uninsured and unlicenced are deprived the use of the road then this is thumbs up time surely??? This puts the legal innocent road user at a lesser risk from these people. Maybe a reduction in insurance premiums as time goes by?? We shall see.

They are after recovering fines/ costs. In this instance, the bike has been courier (trust me....I'm a professional!) and the indicated mileage of 22'000 should actually read 122'000  Probably why the owner didn't bother coming back!

Never trust a professional (courier especially  ) and it looks like it's done 222k :D

As Keith has said, the law enables the police to seize the vehicle if the owner/driver does not hold a licence or insurance. The vehicle is taken to a pound and is kept till the owner pays a fee and produces a licence or valid insurance.

I certainly can't see a problem with that, gets ar**holes off the road (for a while).
