Lennies, sj etc - does anyone know the whereabouts of any before-and- after data on these fitments? Tried Moto One (Brad) and Boxer performance (Lennie) and San Jose, but can't see anything conclusive. Seen much mention of 'seat of the pants' stuff and some belivable stuff about the lennies' benefits not really showing up on dyno, but is there at least someone with a +5mph top end?

dunno about a +5 mph (don't really go up that end too often on congested english roads) and have too many mods to judge impact of lennie's or SJ alone.

Trouble is once you start adding bits you really need to look at the whole package - if you don't you'll maybe run lean and toast your knee when something melts

So if you go lennie's you need an SJ to let the increased air get into the mill. You then need to realise this with a better 'zaust.
This, of course, leans out the mill so much that you then need to get a PC3 and dyno time (at least that's cheap coz of the closed loop)

So - don't do it unless you is totally bonkers and can keep your empty wallet a secret from your other half

You're right about the 'whole package', I've already got most of the 'package' and I'm just on a justification thing before I lob another wad of cash at it (it was sunny and dry on the way to work this morning)..I just need a teeny bit of 'good decision mate', c'mon help me

The whole package will allow red line in top with ease, no +5mph unless you change the gearing

More than that - the pick up when modded, is nowt like standard.
Makes it scary for them not expecting it.

I'd say biggest single difference was the pc3. (I think?)
Pipes made it a bit louder and faster when going fast anyway
Did the Lennie's & SJ together and saw the needle fly around the midrange.
PC'in' it melded it together (spock style) smoothed it out and made it safe (in a not melting pots kinda way) but released the power the other bits intrinsically added.

My thoughts anyway - GO SPEND THE MONEY - but don't tell er indoors!

I am with soggy or this ,go on and spend you can`t take it with you. I have spent and the difference is worth it. A friend had a ride on my bike after having a standard s for 3 years and was blown away on his return 1 very long hour later.

I'm ordering the lennies (already got the PC). I asked Lennie if he'd got a view on an air filter (I've got a K&N) and he said he recommends the SJ. I'd love to get both at the same time - just to get a big hit in one fitment, but the thought of paying a total of ninety quid just in import tax for the two items makes me sick (I have to work for this money stuff). I understand that the SJ is in fact a 'off the shelf' big filter (from an earth-mover?), matched to a bespoke flange which adapts it to the stock airbox. I can make a flange... now where's the nearest quarry?
