12k mile service cost at authorised dealer?

Anyone give me a rough figure on this so I don't have a heart attack on the day.

It's a 2002 BCR which I bought a few months back from Vines (so it came with a years warranty under the BMW approved program).

I am currently doing 1000 miles a month so want to keep the warranty up if I can.

It only had 8000 on it when I bought it so I think it's probably the first "proper" service it has had since new.

I asked the very same question last week at pidcocks in long eaton and there asking around £200 for a 6000 mile service and £300 for a 12000 service and they'll want it overnight for the engine to cool down on the 12000 mile one,hope that helps horse.

Thanks Ruffy ... not as "bad" as I thought ... guess they need it cool for the valve check. Think I'll get it booked in then (asking the same question of Vines at the time) ... all the best, Horse.
