Bad news - followed by slightly better news!!

Post by m25jambuster »

As many of you will remember I snapped my achillies tendon and broke my ankle and heel last year. Well recently I have been experiencing quite a bit of dicomfort in the achillies again even just walking around the house. Well I finally gave in yesterday and went to the Doc. The bad news is that somhow I have managed to open up the tear in the achillies again and I now have something growing on the scar tissue of the tendon. The diagnosis is that I need to have surgery to have it put right. The slightly better news is that it could all happen within two weeks. So as it is I am off the road again, not due to the doctor but due to the discomfort however I should be back on the bike again within four weeks so I am still coming to Wales!!!! Sorry to all those who have to put up with me - you will not get rid of me that easily!!!!

So your Achilles heel appears to be your, er, Achilles tendon :?

Hope the recovery goes well this time.

Oops!

Thats a bit unlucky mate. I, fortunately, haven't had any come back with mine.
I'm sure it will be fine. All the best anyway...
