ABBA stand

Post by Stevie »

I'm kind of reluctant bring this up again, considering what happened last time it was mentioned, but did you have any luck Andrew? I want one of these too.

If you are going to use a stand that uses the swing arm pivots as lifting points, then you need something that is a bit stronger and more secure

I am trying to see if I can get more of them to fit R 1200S. At the moment it looks as though it will not be an economic proposition, so if they do happen then I will probably only get them to order. I can get the stands but getting the BMW adapters are the problem.

....which is okay until you need to take the swingarm out. :?

No need for Anna and Frida holding up the K1200R since it can be had right from the factory with this practical little device called centrestand...;-)

Sandbar ... how on earth do you ride that bike - the rear wheel isn't even touching the floor.

I suppose I could BUT I knocked a stand up at work one morning!!! Access to welding gear/pipe benders does occasionally have its use's.

You are right! Once the car park had emptied a bit I was able to straighten it up :thefinger:

Steve,

No luck unfortunately, I might give them a call again and inform them that they could always travel 15 miles to Cannon BMW (think that is their local dealer).
