"The World's Fastest Indian"

Post by BMWBob »

Not quite a product or service however I have just got back from seeing the newly released film about the true story of the guy from New Zealand who took his Indian motorsickle to Bonneville and broke the land speed record.

Highly recommended if you enjoy a good film with a motorcycling theme.

Regards Bob.

I've heard excellent reports about this flick from other sources too - may even get off my fat lazy *rse and see it at the cinema myself (I usually wait for the DVD these days).

Loved the film too, but the fact they were somewhat "poetic" with the reported top speed etc, just took a tiny bit of credibility away.

He actually went back over a period of nine years and I think the official record 2 way was 178ish, with a one way run of approx 190, 8 years after his first visit.

What a character though!

Anyone seen The doctor, the tornado and the Kentucky Kid?

Bought it a few weeks back, interesting, but you'd only watch it once.

Excellent film, Alastair lent it to me and I sat and watched it with my wife. Both thought it was a good feel factor film
