Gearbox drain plug size

Post by iandunn1100ss »

Can anyone please tell me the size of tool needed to drain the gearbox as my bike is in its vacbag and i don`t want to get it out just for this. I want to try some of that mobil oil in there when the weather warms up.

Thanks for the quick replys. I have one of these in stock. Another question is does the exhaust get in the way of the drain plug?

Ian.. yes the exhaust does get in the way. Solution: cut off about 2cm of the 14mm allen key, .. and use a 14mm spanner to turn it.
