My brother has one and he loves it. And at £5k new and on the road, they are an absolute steal. biggest problems he reports are the side stand, which is a very poor design and made of some sort of cheese, and the tank range is very poor, best he ever got was 138 to dry, but usually 100/110 when the light comes on, and then your left with 4lts to find a filling station. the tank holds 18L, even though all the specs/dealers/factory quote 21L.
I have to say I love the look of it, and they certainly go well enough.

'Falco' is a totally underated bike,.. and possibly for the reasons that Bailey mentioned, .. but of all the bikes I've used on the track,.. the Falco is probably my all time favourite.

Gus, the falco is a great all round bike. The only niggle I'd say about it is that it needs a good fettle with the suspension....drop the forks about 4-5 rings and ditch the rear Sachs crappy shock.
They are no where near the comfort stakes of an 11S. Definately more a sports bike.
The overall engine and finish are excellent.
They respond well to pipes and chip/ airfilter.
They are a lot of bike for little money on the secondhand market.
BUT..... I got to honestly say if i was to have another Aprilia....it would be the RSVR....after owning the Tuono I really think that the RSV chasis/swingarm is the better one.

Chris
I surprise myself sometimes regarding what i,m thinking.
However!I,m in dire need of a bike!I,m surprised i,ve gone this long without one to be honest. The occasional blast on a buddies bike has helped quench the fire, but its still smouldering away.I need a fix on a regular basis! You know the feeling, had a bad day at work? All is well and good again after a good thrash on ya bike.As the beast is still some way off completion and wont be fit for two up touring duties with sally,i decided to see whats about.Being having a mosey around and decided a falco would fit the bill.I was thinking of another S at first, but i would end up spending a fortune on it.Hence why i be looking for a falco. At the right price of course!A cosmetic damaged one would be ideal,as i can then paint it matt black.
