I admit I probably cleaned it a little too much, but it has been used as well, about 15K in the photo; Nurbergring, Spain, Switzerland, Italy etc.

I think they may have changed the design of the pipes. The ones I had did away with the rubber mounting behind the engine. Instead they bolted on via the plate and odd fitting the cat was attached to and then via a rubber bush to the subframe mount.

HTH

Thank you for the links and the photo. Great to see such help and that old biking traditions are still there. I hope you all wave or give a nod at passing bikers - I used to when I was in my 20's (not too long ago) and always got a wave back. Now I get either a wave or a strange look (must be aimed at the rider as it can't be the bike, unless that look is jealousy).

Thanks again to everyone, and here goes for the weekend ahead.

6 bleeding knuckles
27 cups of tea
26 cups thrown against the wall in frustration
1 flat battery
3 unsuccessful bump starts
1 fairing strip (to get at the battery)
1 successful jump start

AND WHAT A SOUND

Thanks again to everyone for the tips and pictures.

Blimey that's a bit of a session ! They are the best fitting exhaust I've ever fitted. I sold mine to Gijs ( throttlemeister) a few weeks back and other than being dirty ( sorry about that Gijs  ) They were still perfect and fitted like a glove. The key to it is fit and join everything losely then tighten !

Anyway welcome to the fold

Staintune Exhausts

Neighbours thought they were good as well, especially when I started the bike up at 9:30 pm on Sunday night.

They were all cheering (well at least that what I thought they were doing - but I couldn't hear them for the noise of the exhausts!!)
