Telelever bearings

Post by oyster »

We've recently read the exciting news that the ball joint nut works loose and causes a front end rattle. Anyone ever had one of these balljoints actually fail? And has anyone ever had any problems with the bearings at the frame end of the wishbone? :?

I replaced a ball joint on mine after I started getting handling problems similar to worn head race bearings. The transformation after it was replaced was night and day.
