Oi Al - if you get round to the Iceland thing I might be interested - always fancied a trip up thereBlackal wrote:Then, a couple of months ago - bought the GS1200Adv in preparation for a tentatively-planned trip to Iceland next year.

Blimey, you bought a £10k bike for a 'tentatively-planned trip'?Blackal wrote:

'04 BCR
'92 MZ ETZ301 (my Winter Super-Speedy Special - the fastest thing across London)
'94 MZ ETZ125 (in bits)
'75 MZ TS250 4-speed
'77 MZ TS250/1 Supa5 in lots & lotsa bits
I guess I also bought the Adv for touring trips that I didn't want to take the BCR on. I don't mind bunging the pan-ears and topbox on the BCR to get to a destination, and go out every day with no luggage - but for actual touring - I don't like the looks or bulk of the full-on pan-ears..........hence the 1200Adv (..and I paid a lot less than £10kNu2beemers wrote:
