Anyone got a pic of a mandarin one with black wheels?

Just out of interest what would it cost to get a pair of wheels powder coated and would anyone like to recommend where to have it done?

That's not a bad price Kev, if it's all in. I paid 45 quid to have just a rear wheel done - sorting the disc/tyre removal/refitting myself.

Is that for spraying or powder coat?

DO NOT POWDER COAT.

2 Pack is better.

Bob

Now let the shitfest debate start again regarding powder/2 pack

What's wrong w/ powder coat? i got some Bros wheels coated a few years ago and they looked awesome (complete with proper sign-written MotoGP striping!):

Surprisingly effective :thumbleft:

Think I would go for the satin black finish that my Daytona has, though - rather than gloss.

A mate with a mandarin 1100s has had mandarin-coloured wheels that didn't look too clever, but he doesn't recommend powder-coating either.

(I should have known you'd have a pic of the exact bike in front of those green garage doors :thumbleft: )

What he said.

Sure, if you like white then go for it but the white rear wheel on my BCR is a friggin' PITA to keep clean (if I could pick up a mint condition blue rear wheel off a Mamola rep I'd much rather have that).

White wheels to me = white socks. Sooooo 80's darling ;)

Whatever, post up pics when you've had them done. :)

Wheels, rocker covers, rear pillion pegs and pink tax disk holder for £150.
