Ebay

Post by Nero »

Embarrasing drop of bike in my garage the other week, somehow, & very fortunately only the LH mirror got smashed. Luckily I spotted one on ebay, ended last night & no, at £51 +p&p of £6 on top, I didn't buy. If you're on here & you're the seller, then hats off  , if on the other hand you're the buyer  ... it's secondhand, at that price it's only a few quid short of the brand new in the box price!!!!!

Quick call to Motorworks sorted me out, at £20 +p&p :)

I'd been watching that since it first came on and thought it may make a useful spare. I've not looked (too busy) for the past couple of days so hadn't realised it was ending. At that money I'd have had to have been pretty desperate to buy - certainly not just to have as a 'useful spare'.

It's true - people buy (and pay) anything on eBay!

Sold a 12000 mile old Bandit 12 shock on ebay once, albeit with an uprated spring, but stated it was fekked apart from spring.
How much?
£90
I thank you

Hmmm.....I notice the same mirror is back on Fleebay again at about £30. Looks like someone decided against paying the high bid price after all. Or may be someone was just driving up the bidding, heaven forbid

You don't think that that sort of thing happens on eBay - do you?

It is an auction after all!

The trick is to buy stuff when the price is right and not when you need it,must have half an 1100s around the house, and if i don't use the bits the'll be a profit margin in e'm.

The original plan wasn't to keep my Tiger for as long as i have, saw a pair of mint forks just incase!!! 30 quid!!.
