I thought it all seemed rather tame, quiet even for a trade day. The Chinese replicas, at about 30% less than the real thing, were getting a big crowd. Probably dealers concerned about some competition. Suzuki looked good, followed by Kawasaki, Honda looked the same as ever, no wow factor. Harleys are very big. ! BMW seemed to be all over, big focus on long distance enduro. Royal Enfield have got bigger and CCM are showing their new variations. Ducati are not there. One clothing company are doing a half price fire damage sale. The whole show seemed better laid out, more space to get around. Carole Nash's displays were outrageous and some good street fighters elsewhere. All in all I would say about the same, 7/10.

I need something for the TL and rather fancy a work of art than a piece of bendy tat.

No Guzzi. Someone was flogging front stands for £20. And rear for a bit more.

From memory, the MCN show guide floor plan showed stands for the big four japanese, BMW, Harley, Triumph and KTM. No Italians there at all.

Not really working up much enthiusiasm for a trip. Let's see what Bob reckons when he signs in tonight after his trip today ( and a glass or three of wine, no doubt )

Went with Archie on the bikes nice ride there average ride home.

Oh yeah and the show can only say average not really worth the £28 entry fee but the cheese burger chips and a coke were ok for £9

Am now off out for a chinese will post later with cutting and sarcastic comments after mucho crushed graoe juice.

Harris make some nice stainless ones for around £60 per end, or very funky ally ones (for about £110 each here

I have a stainless front one and it's very nice, very solid - they're seling them at the show for £50 each

In their defence it was an extremely nice burger, and the chips were excellent. I'd rather pay £9 for that than £5 for a crappy ratburger & soggy chips at Donnington.

I have a Harris S/S rear in the shed.A great piece of kit.
Have had thoughts about selling it as it's not getting any use at the mo, but that could all change when I win the lotto......yeah right.
