So - Can I suggest that we give Seadog a "temporary cover note" until he gets another "S"?

I recently got a 1200Adv but kept the BCR (that's my baby  )

I'm sure you will enjoy the Adv, but I expect you'll soon be skint from buying yet more "must-have-accessories" for the new bike.

Trust me.........................................

Al (becoming skint)
:?
I would have kept the S but having added a Pan-Euro 1300 during summer I think the wife would have had a fit if I'd added yet another to the collection.

I'm not really intending adding anything to it TBH other than the HID which I already have from the S, and a GPS mount, which I also have.

The 12S, looks okay, in the colgate colours but I prefer the overall look of the 11, though I wouldn't mind the weight drop and power increase....... hmmmmmm perhaps I could graft an 11's bodywork on.......

No no no stop it !

Initial thoughts, dead comfy especially for my long legs, but noticable drop in power compared to the S, even a standard one. I'm the wrong height for the standard screen and am getting buffeted, so that'll need changing. Dead quick turn in ( no honestly ) and loads of ground clearance. Headlight is pants from memory so the HID will be going into that in jig-time.

got to say thats praise indeed, you didn't mention if it'll do a decent cutlet - my barbecue handles like a shopping trolley full of charcoal. Not sure about the yellow and red though...

Hi Ali

Already sorted a set out but bugger me they're outrageously expensive for the Adventure at around 90-100 quid !!! Fecking Nouncy Norman must be raking it in with that mark up, wonder how much tobers actually gets.....

I reckon i'm just the wrong height for the screen at around 6'1" but I can't be arsed cutting it down. :?

It's not such a bad place to be, but it's noticabley slower than the S, so I may try a transplant if I can get an S lump at cheap salvage
