You are all wrong
The best sounding (by far - trust me on this) is the HPE and unlike all the others looks the way that the bike should look.
I can't post a picture from here, but check it out on my website
www.sandbarcomposites.co.uk
Click on the picture and (hopefully) go to the product page which includes a dyno chart.
Usual reservations and an IMHO - of course

Plenty - thank you
Downpipes? Give us a chance. They will be with us soon
Extensive research ( oh alright - I went over to BMW's stand and played the soundtrack of their Akrapovic) reveals that there is no contest.
It has none of the deep boomy sort of sound that is so familiar to the de-catted open piped 1100S. In fact our pipe for the F800 sounds better than that Akra.
I will get the soundtracks on the site a.s.a.p.
New parts for the R1200S
Full length bellypan
Fairing nose panel inc. new screen
Front mudguard
Side panels covering injectors
Heel protectors
Exhaust shroud (for standard exhaust) - and covers much more than the BMW one.
Axea not withstanding - IMHO

Heard the Laser for real a while ago.
For us the real problem is that the Akra is sold by BMW with all the approval that that implies. However after today we are very relieved.
You have to take looks into account as well and let's be realistic, some of them are very strange looking.
Try this link to the sound effects page of the HPE site.
http://www.hpe-auspuff.de/html/sound-_v ... lerie.html
I don't know if it will work, but you should find what you are lookin for if it does work.
I am assuming that the clips that we have on our stand will be in there somewhere.

Click on the picture and you should go to the product page with suitable pictures etc.
There will be a Trixter deal, but to be fair I do have a bit of a backlog of orders first.

For what its worth I should say that its junking the cat that makes the biggest difference and is the most cost effective way of 'improving' the bikes running & response. After a couple of days round the Dales I did enjoy running in stealth mode and so the deed is done and a set of Remus Downpipes (no cat) are now ordered. Will keep you posted once they arrive and are fitted.
Peter.

Remus pipes arrived this morning, Pretty good service I would say seeing as I only ordered on sunday evening. Bikes now had its 600 mile service and has luggage (well I'm sure a tank bag counts as luggage) Hope to get the pipes fitted tomorrow evening and will then see how it goes next weekend and keep you all updated.
Peter.
