BMW New models

Post by theseadog »

Dont know that you can actually call it the fab 5, I personally think the 650models all look shite, but that's just my opinion. Do like the look of the HP superdooper number right enough ;)

the K1200R sport has all the allure of a 1/2 faired bandit 12...

Like the look of G650 Xmoto - looks like it would make a good city bike.

I was ready to love the R1200s, but it's still not grown on me in a way that new models tend to. But if the HP2 supermoto 8) is due for release then that could quite happily sit in my garage alongside the R1100s.

It might be because the panels are all the same colour (blue), but I really like the K1200 Sport.
I think it's so much better looking than the naked R and less 'full on' than the S. I want one!
I can't believe that the Bandito is of the same quality?

Well, well... The HP2 megamoto is on the http://www.bmw-motorrad.co.uk site, none of the others are though. I should imagine it will also be mega money too :? , hinted by the blurb saying "Built exclusively to order"..... Hmmm

I suspect you're right . . . . .

"And would sir like to bend over and drop his drawers now or on collection of his megamoto ?"

I love the look of the K1200R sport. Of all the latest models that BMW has I think that it is a more worthy replacement for the R1100S than even the R1200S. The K1200R sport even looks a little like the 1100S.
I suspect that the seat height would be lower than hte R1200S and the are sure to be luggage options. If only they did one in dyson (manderin) colours.

Madman dared to say from the safety of his French retreat

I thought it myself, but didn't have the balls to say it!
Looks wise it floats my boat. I want one. Now! :D

You can check it out at your local dealer right now, because it is absolutely identical to the K1200R with the exception of the upper fairing and the use of the K1200S front mudguard.

There will be at least one aftermarket fairing that will convert one to the other. How on earth do I know that?
