Got to agree with Richard on this one, better without, though I also think that abtout the 11, and plan to remove mine permantently when I repaint the engine.

Thanks very much

I like the fact that the front scoop bit is filled-in. Should help the crud from going under the motor so much as on the BCR.

Better start saving.

...BTW...; I'm planning to cut out the front. For cooling the engine & cat, and for the genuine BCR look...

...crud or no crud...

Very nice.

After having now had time to get the feel for my 12s, Im completely settled with it,so will definitely be looking at various bits and bobs.

The first thing I'll be doing is going for a system, before the wife enforces the baby-time money freeze!

Ron – that’s gonna look great once painted to match the bike. :thumbright:

On another note - I found this pic of a GS1200 on another site - Looks good too?

"Charlatan's bike!!"

Good one! :headbang:

Tell ya what............. If I'd gone for a GS instead of the GS Adv (black plastic doesn't paint so well) - I'd seriously be considering that paint scheme :D

Always good for taunting the BMW Riders Scotland crowd :D

Took a spin on a demo 12s yesterday , what a disappointment
Obviously a bad example (but less than 3k km on clock)
Fitted me perfectly , was running on M1's and handled pretty much the same as my 11s . loads of go at the top end but throttle response / pick up was dreadful. It got so bad that I stopped at the point of no return on my chosen test route . The throttle bodies were so far out of balance that there were two seperate audible "clunks" as each one hit the idle stop. Overall i'm happy enough with my 11s . (Now where can I get a pc and some decent brakes?)
When I got back to the dealer the workshop were uncrating a brand new k1200 engine , wonder what was going on there?
