I'd imagine that if it isn't persisting it down we may do a low-level raid on Devil's Bridge sunday morning.

Hi guys
Just wondering where you stand on the Lennies v SJ superduct debate (if indeed there is one)? I've been looking at both and the SJ option seems much cheaper (US$180). I know it's not carbon fibre but do both systems not work chiefly because they're twice as big as a normal induct? Surely, it would make v little difference whether they were made from carbon fibre or injection moulded? Are there other advantages to the Lennies Induct I should be aware of? I was thinking of ordering an SJ duct, powerfilter and intake port - but I haven't much experience in this direction and would appreciate any advice.
Cheers

Richard,

I'll have the best ale in the house, thanks very much, boy they must pay the armed services more than when I was in the Andrew (Royal Navy), there again that was 17 years ago.

Lennie's CF Induct - goodbye to anxiety?

Well I've done it. A short email to Lennie and some PayPal tricks has got me one on order. Glad to know I won't have to stand too close to the pan with that fitted!

I see what you mean. I've just spent about an hour wading through a tiny percentage of the endless emails on the subject in Pelican. Know a lot more now than I did. Thanks for the pointer.

I've had both previously but chose the Lennies for my 3rd one as Motorworks had them in their sale and they offer more bling/$. Sad but true.

BTW The SJ comes in two separately priced pieces and retains BMW's flexible hose. The SJ consisted only one-piece (the airbox end) when I got it. I'm sure the 2 piece unit is good as SJ Chris knows his stuff when it comes to the S.
