3 points and sixty squid. Really? What a result! :) I thought is was 'dust the suit down' time if you get nicked above 96 mph. As told to me by an ex copper who used to work traffic. I'd asked him as I got done at 93 mph and was worried about a ban.
Did ya get to keep a copy of the video? Stick it up on the site! :P

Having just had the offender round my gaff telling me all and sundry,i can say he is very very happy at the result. He got a decent copper who also had the ability to judge his riding and other factors concerning the said incident m,lud.Having taken everything into account he made a fair judgment in my opinion.Bikes and cars have come on leaps and bounds since the speed limits were introduced.Sadly, some of the people who drive/ride them hav,nt.A good copper will always sort the wheat from the chaff. You just dont get that from a gatso.I like traffic cops.

What would that "certain someone" have been riding at the time, Chris? Wouldn't have been a Power Commander test, would it?

Convinced the copper he needed a shiny new set of Galfers, I reckon...

(Speaking of which, I wish BMW would fix my bike so I can fit them. They're pretty sitting on my living room floor, but I'm sure they'd be better on the bike... )

Paul,

It all depends what he was driving at the time.
